AI Creative Camp · Graphic Design Creative Space
Design what you imagine. Learn how to make it better.
Turn your ideas into visual designs with ChatGPT and Leonardo. Learn to build a creative brief, explore styles, compare options and refine the result.
Across five practical lessons, create 50+ AI-assisted outputs through activities, experiments, projects and improvements. Your message, purpose and judgement guide the work.
Current Program · 5 lessons · 1 hour per lesson · approximately 5 hours
ChatGPT + Leonardo · 50+ AI-assisted artworks and design pieces across activities, generated options, experiments, projects and refinements.
50+ outputs does not mean 50 finished portfolio pieces. Generally recommended for ages 12+. Suitable younger learners may participate with parent or guardian support, subject to readiness and platform age and account requirements.
What you will create
Give your imagination a clear direction.
Compare and refine
Review colour, composition, atmosphere, detail and clarity. Create a second version and explain how your changes make the design communicate better.

Build a visual project
Start with an idea, choose a style and audience, then develop a creative brief. Use ChatGPT and Leonardo to generate options and select the strongest direction.

Explore visual possibilities
Experiment with images, colour, text, layout and shape. Discover how illustration, 3D and other styles change what a design communicates. Students may also explore different AI image-generation models to compare how the same idea produces different visual results.

The five-lesson journey
From a visual idea to a design with purpose.
Bring your interests, visual ideas and creative decisions. Each lesson puts them into practice through a clear process.
Brief → Generate → Compare → Critique → Refine
-
Discover AI-assisted design
Explore how images, colour, text, layout and shape communicate. Compare visual styles and make your first artwork in Leonardo. -
Write effective design prompts
Use design type, style, mood, purpose and audience, then add colour, layout and visual effects. Develop a product-advertising concept. -
Plan a complete project
Build a brief, develop a descriptive prompt with ChatGPT and compare options in Leonardo against your original intention. -
Review and refine
Create A World You Dream Of, critique the first version and improve atmosphere, composition or focal point. Explain the change. -
Create safely and fairly
Check prompts for privacy, respect and originality. Improve a problematic brief and create an original album profile image.

Creative freedom, clear boundaries
Original ideas. Thoughtful decisions.
Learners are encouraged to experiment and develop original ideas while following clear expectations for respectful content, privacy, copyright and responsible AI use. Keep unnecessary personal information out of prompts, distinguish inspiration from direct copying, review images before sharing and explain AI’s contribution.
Live programs are supported by human educators through the approved learning environment and NextRising AI communication channels. Student work may be retained where reasonably required for learning, course delivery, support or agreed educational purposes. Identifiable student work will not be used publicly for marketing or promotion without appropriate permission.
Save or export work where the platform allows. Sharing, publication and commercial-use rights depend on the relevant platform and account plan.
Before you begin
Practical questions, clear answers.
For anyone curious about turning ideas into visual creations.
Graphic Design Creative Space welcomes learners with different levels of creative experience. You might already love drawing, digital art, photography, brands or visual storytelling — or simply have an idea you want to see come to life. The course guides learners step by step while leaving room for individual interests and creative decisions.
Generally recommended for ages 12+. Suitable younger learners may participate where appropriate with parent or guardian support, subject to readiness and the age and account requirements of the platforms used.
Your ideas matter more than your existing design experience. No prior drawing or professional graphic-design experience is required.
The course introduces the creative process step by step, from developing a visual idea and building a creative brief to generating, comparing and refining different possibilities. Learners with existing design experience can extend their skills and explore new AI-assisted workflows.
The total includes work created through activities, experiments, generated options, projects and refined versions. It does not mean 50 fully finished portfolio pieces.
Students explore different visual possibilities, compare results against a creative brief and make purposeful changes. The emphasis is on ideas, visual communication, judgement, experimentation, refinement and responsible AI.
The core tools are ChatGPT and Leonardo. The course focuses on AI-assisted ideation, prompt control, creative briefs, visual judgement and refinement, rather than training in a conventional professional design suite.
Students may also be introduced to different AI image-generation models to compare how the same creative idea can produce different visual results. The particular models may change as technology and the curriculum develop.
The course teaches the difference between inspiration and direct copying. Students develop original work, respect copyright and explain the contribution of AI.
Learners are encouraged to experiment while following clear expectations for respectful content, privacy and responsible use. Keep unnecessary personal information out of prompts and review generated work before sharing it.
Students are encouraged to save and build on the work they create. Where the relevant platform allows it, learners can download or export designs for personal projects and portfolios.
Sharing, publication and commercial-use rights may depend on the terms of the AI platform and account plan being used. Check the applicable terms before publishing. NextRising AI will only use identifiable student work publicly with appropriate permission.
