Use AI with purpose

Keep the learner responsible for the work.

Check and acknowledge

Check factual claims, sources, calculations, code and other outputs. Look for mistakes, bias, missing context and fabricated references.
Disclose AI assistance and acknowledge sources in the way the school or task requires. Keep useful evidence of your process, decisions, checks and revisions.

Follow the task’s rules

AI use may be allowed, limited or inappropriate depending on the task. Follow your school’s assessment rules, educator instructions and the requirements of the program.
Ask before using AI if the rules are unclear. Do not present AI-generated work as unaided work or use AI to bypass an assessment restriction.

Human authorship and decisions

Start with your own goal and make deliberate choices. Use AI to explore possibilities, ask questions, understand concepts and improve work where the activity permits it.
You should be able to explain what you made, the decisions you took, what you changed and how AI contributed. An output alone does not demonstrate your understanding.

Respect and responsibility

Use tools without harming others.

Ask for help and address concerns

Tell an educator or contact info@nextrisingai.com if you are uncertain about permitted use or see a concern. The intended approach is to explain expectations, support learning and address misuse proportionately.

Protect personal information

Use approved accounts and tools. Avoid entering unnecessary personal, sensitive, confidential or identifying information about yourself or anyone else.
Do not share account credentials or publish another learner’s work, image or details without appropriate permission. Ask the educator when a tool’s data requirements are unclear.

Respect people and creative work

Respect copyright, licences, attribution and the work of other people. Consider whether you have permission to use or share an image, recording, text, design or code.
Do not use AI for harassment, abusive or discriminatory content, deception, impersonation or other harmful activity. Follow the platform and program rules.
